Do not rely only on a website title, vehicle photograph, chat message or payment request. The provider should be able to explain how the proposed transport complies with the current cross-border rules.
2. Check Passenger Entry Requirements
Confirm passport validity, visa requirements and any current arrival submission for every passenger. Children require their own valid documents. The return journey may involve separate Singapore entry requirements.
Keep passports and essential personal items accessible at the checkpoint. Do not send unnecessary document copies through a general enquiry form.
3. Record the Complete Itinerary
- Travel date and requested departure time

- Complete Malacca destination
- Passenger names and reachable contact numbers
- Planned stops and return journey, if applicable

5. Allow for Border and Road Variability
Checkpoint queues and road conditions vary. Avoid relying on a fixed arrival promise, especially on weekends, public holidays or major event dates. Leave flexibility before hotel check-in, meetings or attraction bookings.
Passengers and drivers must follow immigration, customs and transport-officer instructions. Online statements about clearing checkpoints quickly or remaining in a vehicle should not override official directions.
6. Obtain Clear Booking Confirmation
A submitted form or initial message is not final confirmation. The accepted arrangement should identify the passenger, route, timing, lawful transport format and the contact responsible for changes.
Ask what happens if the passenger, date or route changes. Do not infer cancellation, waiting-time or payment terms that the provider has not supplied in writing.
